Mozilla Postpones Firefox 2.0 Beta 2

Mozilla Corp. on Tuesday delayed the release of the second beta of its Firefox 2.0 browser by a 
week. Firefox 2.0, which appeared as Beta 1 last month, was to shift into Beta 2 Aug. 8, but will now be posted Tuesday, Aug. 15 according to minutes of the company’s weekly status meeting.
The minutes didn’t explicitly spell out the reason for the delay, but by comments posted there, several regression errors and numerous other bugs still must be addressed.
