Klone Removal (How to manually remove Klone)
Published December 9th, 2006 in All Categories, Security, Spyware Removal
Klone is a widely spread trojan that hijacks the Internet Explorer default home page and changes
important web browser settings. It also redirects the user to undesirable web sites serving commercial advertisements or secretly installing other threats. Furthermore, the parasite steals user login name and password and transfers them to predetermined remote hosts. Such activity might result in identity theft. The trojan automatically runs on every Windows startup.
Please note that Klone generates random names for its files. That’s why we can provide only basic manual removal instructions, which might not help in your particular case.
It is highly recommend to use automatic spyware removers in order to completely get rid of the Klone trojan and related pests.
